Smoked Mackerel Pate

We almost always have some smoked mackerel fillets in our fridge -- I like having them around because they are so healthy, keep for a long time, and are easy to serve (breakfast, lunch, picnic, dinner -- you name it)!

This smoked mackerel recipe is super simple to make, and our kids (and we!) LOVE it.

Smoked Mackerel Pate

  • 100 g smoked mackerel fillets (skin removed)

  • 100 g cream cheese

  • 75 g sour cream

  • A squeeze of lemon

  • Fresh ground pepper

  • Some dill if you have it (optional)

Puree everything in a blender and serve on toast or yummy bread!
